Let's face it: spreading a blanket among the rows of vines on Lake Garda has a whole other flavour, especially if the wine in your glass bears the name of a legend.
We invite you to Lazise, at Villa Meneghello, for an open-air picnic among vineyards and olive groves. Whether you choose to relax in the shade of an olive tree or in the heart of the vineyard, your only task will be to unwrap the delicacies from the basket and toast with your favourite 'legend'!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during the booking process at Villa Meneghello in Lazise, in the heart of the picturesque Garda area. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will give us everything we need for our break in nature: a basket full of delicacies, a blanket and a handy table.
We will choose the perfect spot for our relaxation, strolling among the rows of vines or seeking tranquillity under the foliage of the olive grove. Once we have found the ideal location, we can open our basket, prepared fresh every morning, which includes a selection of local cold meats and cheeses, focaccia, pizzas, seasonal fruit and a dessert.
To toast the day, we will be able to choose a bottle of wine for every 2 people from three labels in the cellar: the white Custoza, the red Bardolino or the rosé Chiaretto. In the basket we will also find a bottle of water for every 2 people.
We will have the whole day to eat, chat and relax surrounded by greenery, until closing time at 18: 00.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved exclusively for adults. Accompanying persons under the age of 12 to 15 can participate in the activity for a reduced fee, which includes fruit juices and soft drinks. For children under the age of 12, participation is free of charge.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems, with the possibility of standing on the flat areas adjacent to the winery.
Other information
Attention! In the event of bad weather , the picnic can be replaced with a guided tour of the winery with wine tasting.
The experience takes place from April to October, every day except Sunday.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances, including products for coeliacs: you must contact the facility at the contact details given in the confirmation e-mail to communicate your needs well in advance.
Dogs are allowed throughout the hotel.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
