Rich dish, I'll go for it! Or in this case it would be better to say 'basket'.
At the Cantina I Ricchi di Monzambano, we are preparing a picnic that would put even Little Red Riding Hood to shame! Inside the basket you will in fact find typical local dishes and products and a bottle of house wine. The best part? You can enjoy it all amidst the splendid vineyards of the morainic hills of Alto Mantovano!
But it doesn't end here: you can in fact choose to enrich your picnic with a wine tasting to make the experience even more complete!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the I Ricchi winery in Monzambano (MN), in the heart of the Mantuan moraine hills. We will be welcomed by a guide who will take us on a tour of the estate's winery.
Before the picnic, we will have the opportunity to visit the winemaking rooms and the barrel cellar, where we will discover the production method of the I Ricchi winery. Afterwards, we will be given a picnic basket full of specialities prepared by the chef of the relais of the wine cellar and 1 bottle of wine for every 2 people from the Garda or Colli line.
If we have chosen the "picnic + tasting + bottle" option, at the end of the visit there will be a tasting of 3 house wines accompanied by the first course of picnic hors d'oeuvres. We can then move between the rows of vines on the estate to enjoy our picnic in the open air, freely choosing our "corner of peace".
When booking, we will be able to choose between a 4-course picnic (for adult menus) in the classic or vegetarian version (we will be able to communicate our preference after booking confirmation) :
- classic menu: smoked bacon with apple jam, spelt salad with tuna, cherry tomatoes and olives, carne salada with rocket and parmesan flakes, tart with home-made jam
- vegetarian menu: grilled vegetable garden, pasta salad with pesto, potatoes and green beans, vegetarian quiche, fresh fruit
Children's menu : rice salad with ham and peas, focaccia with ham, cheese and salad, chocolate salami.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. The serving of alcoholic beverages is restricted to participants over 18 years of age.
Other information
The experience takes place from mid-May to mid-September. The booking times are indicative and correspond to the visiting hours of the winery.
Important: it is not possible to request changes to the menu except in the case of allergies and/or food intolerances, which must be reported in advance to the winery at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming the booking.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
