Let's face it: eating on a meadow has a whole other flavour, especially if there are rows of Nebbiolo grapes from Valtellina around you.
We invite you to Bianzone, at the Tenuta La Gatta owned by the Triacca family, for an open-air picnic amidst the green spaces of an ancient 16th century residence.
Whether you choose a sofa in the garden or a strategic spot in the middle of the vineyard, your only task will be to open the lunch box and to toast the beauty of the moment!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Tenuta La Gatta in Bianzone (SO), in the splendid setting of the Valtellina wine-growing landscape. You will be welcomed by the estate staff, who will provide you with everything you need for your picnic in the open air.
You will receive a rich lunch box filled with typical products of the Valtellina tradition and 1 bottle of wine from the Triacca selection (white or red, your choice) for every 2 people, water included.
You can choose your favourite corner: along the edge of the terraces, between the rows of vines , or sit on the sofas provided by the hotel. If you would like to lie down directly on the grass, the advice is to bring a blanket from home.
During the picnic, you will have the opportunity to take a stroll through the vineyards and visit the historic wine cellar on your own, discovering the details of this residence that was a former Dominican monastery centuries ago.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total , but you can choose how long you want to stay until the end of your picnic.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Wine is only available for those over the age of 18.
The basket is designed for two people, for smaller or odd-numbered groups it is possible to arrange by selecting the desired number of packages.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems (please notify the facility after booking confirmation) , however, please note that the historic wine cellar is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed for a minimum number of 2 people.

Dogs are allowed during the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
