We are waiting for you at the Triacca family's Tenuta Santavenere in Montepulciano, for a picnic amidst the vineyards , a stone's throw from a spectacular wine cellar.
A place that will leave you speechless. .. and with a full belly!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Tenuta Santavenere in Montepulciano (SI) in the beautiful Tuscan hills between the Valdichiana and Val D'Orcia. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the philosophy of the Triacca family and the history of this signature estate.
We will begin with a guided tour that will take us to discover the decagonal cellar, an architectural masterpiece included in the Toscana Wine Architecture project. Here we will explore the production and ageing rooms, understanding how the original design is combined with the techniques required to produce wines of excellence. We will then continue with a walk through the rows of Sangiovese vines, to breathe in the authentic atmosphere of the Nobile di Montepulciano territory.
Afterwards, we will receive our lunch box for two and settle down among the vines for an open-air picnic. The lunch box includes typical Tuscan cold cuts, pecorino cheese from Pienza, assorted sandwiches and water. For the toast, we will choose a bottle of wine from among Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Nobile di Montepulciano Santavenere or Bianco San Bartolomeo Toscana IGT, complete with glasses and corkscrew.
The experience will last a total of about 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. The serving of wine is reserved for adults only.
The basket is designed for two people, for larger groups please select the number of baskets desired.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems and in wheelchairs or prams.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
The guided tour is available at 12: 30 p. m. and 4: 30 p. m., while it is possible to request the picnic without a tour at any time between 11: 00 a. m. and 4: 30 p. m. (contact the winery after confirming your booking to arrange your arrival time) .
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
Dogs are allowed on the estate and during activities.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
