If every passing plane manages to distract you from whatever you are doing, perhaps it is not distraction. It is vocation.
In the province of Udine you can become a pilot for a day: climb aboard a Fly Synthesis Texan ultralight with dual controls and experience a flight lasting about 30 minutes.
With a professional instructor at your side, you can try out the controls, experience the main manoeuvres, and discover what flying really means!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected during booking at the Aviosuperficie in Osoppo, in the province of Udine. Here, the instructor will welcome you with a briefing of about 15 minutes, during which you will learn how flying works, the basic rules, on-board instrumentation and the principles of aerodynamics.
You will fly aboard a Fly Synthesis Texan, an advanced two-seater UDS ultralight with 100 hp and a cruising speed of about 200 km/h: the same type of aircraft used in flight schools.
After the pre-flight checks and checklist, you climb into the cabin: two seats, one for you and one for the pilot, and dual controls. The instructor handles take-off and initial phases, then gradually hands you control of the aircraft. You will learn how to maintain course and altitude, manage turns and feel the aircraft's response to your movements, always guided step by step.
The flight lasts approximately 30 minutes and the itinerary can be chosen together with the instructor: from the Friulian Carnic Pre-Alps, to the city of Udine, to the Pordenone area, depending on conditions and preferences.
After landing, on the ground, you will receive your "Ultralight Pilot for a Day" certificate to take home. The total duration of the activity is approximately 45 minutes, between briefing and flight.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 6; children under 18 can participate with the written consent of both parents.
To participate, you must weigh less than 120 kg and be no taller than 2 metres.

It is possible to fly all year round.
The aircraft that will accompany you on the experience will be a two-seaterFly Synthesis Texan ultralight with dual controls. In the case of groups of several participants (up to a maximum of 6) , the briefing will be common, while the flight will be carried out individually in succession.
Accompanying persons are welcome; during the flight they will be able to stay inside the facility, where they will find a clubhouse with bar and restaurant.
Photos and videos of the experience can be taken during the flight.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
