Full description
Soar through the skies of Rome in a powered hang glider with the air caressing your face.
In tandem with a professional pilot, you will follow the course of the Tiber River for about 30 minutes, flying over enchanting landscapes and catching a glimpse of the iconic skyline of the eternal city. Pick up speed and experience freedom like never before!
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process in Fiano Romano (RM). After meeting the pilot who will accompany us on this adventure, we will have a 5-minute pre-flight briefing with him.
The pilot will explain the characteristics of the powered hang glider, the motorised version of the traditional hang glider. Thanks to its engine and propeller, it can take off and land independently, without the need to be launched from a hill or towed by another vehicle.
Having completed this first introductory part, we board the aircraft together with the pilot by sitting in the back seat. And now... ready to take off!
We will hover for about 30 minutes following the course of the Tiber river. We will fly over the'Devil's Throats' and admire the Colli Albani, fascinating volcanic cones rising from the surrounding landscape, lakes and the eternal city in the distance.
Enjoying the views and the fresh air on our faces, we will prepare for landing at the starting point. Between briefing, actual flight and debriefing, the activity lasts a total of about 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from the age of 12. Minors requirewritten authorisation from both parents.
Other information
The activity takes place throughout the year, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 participants.
Important: this activity is strictly weather-related. Two days before the scheduled activity, the pilot will contact you via Whatsapp or e-mail to confirm the activity.
The meeting place cannot be reached by public transport.
Photos and videos cannot be taken during the flight.
