Have you ever heard of the parachute? It is a cross between a paraglider and a small plane. .. and yes, it really will make you fly!
In Acqui Terme, in the heart of Alto Monferrato, a tandem flight with a certified pilot from the Aeroclub d'Italia awaits you: an experience that will make you discover how serene (and incredibly beautiful) flying can be.
For about 20 minutes you will fly over hills, vineyards and woods, following the course of the Bormida river shimmering in the sun. A panorama that changes with every metre and a feeling of freedom that, once you have experienced it, you will never want to let go!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Acqui Terme (AL) airfield, at the time selected during the booking process.
After a welcome from the staff, an instructor certified by the Aero Club d'Italia will guide us through a short briefing: how to sit, what to expect in flight, and how take-off and landing will take place.
Then we will put on a helmet with Bluetooth headphones, climb into the rear seat of the parachute and prepare for take-off. A few seconds and we will already be in the air, hovering above the hills of Monferrato. For about 20 minutes we will fly over an enchanting landscape: rows of vines, woods and the winding course of the Bormida river shimmering in the sun.
The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions and preferences at the time. If the skies are favourable, we will be able to go as far as Villa Ottolenghi, splendid from above with its perfect geometries among the vineyards.
Throughout the flight, we will be able to communicate with the instructor via headphones, while he will take care of every phase of the flight, from take-off to landing. On our return, we will be given a certificate of participation as a memento of the experience.
Between the reception, briefing, preparation and flight, the activity lasts a total of about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8; written parental consent is required for minors.
This activity is also suitable for people with disabilities or reduced motor skills. It is not suitable for people with heart or cardiovascular diseases or pregnant women.
Other information
The flight can be booked all year round, at the time slots indicated in the calendar.
Companions are welcome: they can stay in the designated areas and assist with take-off and landing. The facility has a cosy clubhouse and toilets that are also accessible to people with disabilities.
Would you like to share the experience with a friend? You can request a simultaneous flight for up to 3 people. You can make arrangements directly with the pilot after booking: you will receive contact details by e-mail with confirmation.
You can purchase the HD video of the experience shot with GoPro at a cost of 30€, to be paid on site.
There is parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
