Full description
From San Vito Lo Capo to the head of an excursion is an instant. Treat yourself and your crew to an unforgettable day on a private boat, cruising one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in the whole of Sicily.
Departing from San Vito lo Capo you can customise your experience, choosing together with the captain your preferred itinerary for the tour, accompanied also by delicacies on board and many bathing stops.
Whether you decide to head for the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the Faraglioni of Scopello or head for the Monte Cofano Nature Reserve, there is one certainty: wonder is waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet in San Vito Lo Capo, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
After welcoming all participants in the office, we will reach the jetty to board and get to know the captain and his sailor. We will then cast off our moorings to begin our day on board an exclusive use boat.
We will set sail in the direction of Scopello, passing by the ancient Tonnara del Secco and sailing into the Zingaro Reserve, a protected natural area of immeasurable beauty. Once in Scopello, we will be able to admire the iconic Faraglioni, a perfect place to take photos and snorkel. Along the itinerary, we can also stop at Cala dell'Uzzo and Cala del Varo.
Another possible itinerary is in the direction of the Monte Cofano Reserve, between San Vito Lo Capo and Trapani, to relax in contact with lush, unspoilt nature.
Whatever the chosen destination, we will make at least five or six bathroom breaks of around 30 minutes, in quiet places recommended by the captain, to fully enjoy the landscapes encountered. The various breaks will be the perfect opportunity to dive into the water to discover the seabed, thanks to thesnorkelling equipment (included) on board.
In addition, a typical aperitif will be served to spice things up even more: among the dishes on offer will be dessert, coffee, pizza, pane cunzatu, accompanied by wine and soft drinks.
The return to the port is set for 18:00, after an eight-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available daily from April to October and is reserved for private groups of up to 20 participants.
You will travel on a 13-metre, 4.18-metre wide motorboat named Why Not, ideal for 20 passengers and 2 crew members. On board there are toilets, a spacious dinette with sofas, sleeping cabins and a large shaded area.
The itinerary and bathroom stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions to ensure safe and pleasant sailing. The tour can be customised in agreement with the captain.
Do you have food allergies or intolerances? Contact the organisers at the contact details given in the booking confirmation (options for coeliacs also possible). You are also allowed to bring food and drinks on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
