An exclusive 2-hour boat tourwill take you to discover theisland of Ortigia and the marvelloussea caves on the northern coast of Syracuse.
Don't miss the opportunity to get to know one of Italy's most popular destinations. Admire the Fountain of Arethusa, the Maniace Castle, the Cathedral and many other historical buildings on the coast.

What we will do
The rendezvous is in Syracuse at the place indicated in the booking confirmation. As skipper, I will welcome you on board my boat, which will take us on a private tour around the island of Ortigia and to the sea caves of Syracuse.
Our itinerary will start from the bridges of Ortigia. From here we will enter the so-called Grand Harbour of the city of Syracuse and sail along the Alfeo promenade. Leaving the harbour to circumnavigate the island, we will be able to admire the monuments and historical buildings that stand on the coast, such as the imposing Castello Maniace, the Duomo and the Fonte Aretusa.
Leaving Ortigia behind us, we will head towards the north coast of Syracuse to explore the sea caves, from the Grotta dei cappuccini to the Grotta dei coralli, passing by the Grotta dell'amore and the Grotta delle stalattiti.
We will also go as far as the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area and along the Maddalena Peninsula, known for its enchanting Pirillina beach.
We will also enjoy one or two stops of about 15 minutes to swim near the caves, under the Maniace Castle or at the Minaret beach. To toast to the beauty of Syracuse, we will have a glass of prosecco to sip in company as we admire these splendid views.
Afterwards, we will return from the small harbour to sail along the Ortigia canal that divides the island from the city and thus return to our starting point.
The excursion will last a total of 2 hours.

The boat provided, a motorboat equipped with all comforts, is not wheelchair-accessible, but is accessible to pushchairs.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
