Treat yourself to an exclusive boat tour to the island of Ortigia with an initial toast and a swim in the crystal-clear sea of Sicily.
You will admire the natural and architectural beauty of Syracuse from the perspective of the sea. A local skipper will accompany you and your friends to discover the most important monuments, from the Cathedral to the Mariace Castle. You will also enter some sea caves, made unique by stalactites, stalagmites and coral formations, ending the experience with a dip in the blue sea.

What we will do
We will meet at the Foro Vittorio Emanuele II embarkation point in Syracuse. Here we will be met by the skipper and, once we are seated on board, we will set off on our boat tour. There is no better way to visit theisland of Ortigia, where the oldest part of the city of Syracuse is located.
We will start the tour with an initial toast of prosecco. Afterwards, the boat will skirt the island allowing us to admire the Duomo, built on the site of a temple dedicated to Athena, the beautiful Maniace Castle and the church of Santa Lucia alla Badia. We will also admire the Venetian Palace and the mighty Spanish Walls.
We will then explore the sea caves. We will enter these coastal ravines to admire stalactites, stalagmites and coral flowers. Finally, we will make a short stop for a dip in the turquoise sea.
The activity lasts a total of one and a half hours.

The activity is for everyone, without age limits. The boat is wheelchair accessible.

The excursion takes place from June to September, weather permitting, and is aimed at private groups of 2 to 12 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
