There are those on Lake Maggiore who stroll along the lakefront. .. and then there's you, who conquer it by private boat!
Set off from Arolo with a dedicated skipper for a 2-hour tour with aperitif between the Borromean Islands and the Hermitage of Santa Caterina.
And trust me: after experiencing it like this, returning to watch it from the shore will seem almost a shame.
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Arolo, at the time chosen during the booking process. Waiting for you will be the skipper, ready to welcome you and take you on board the boat reserved just for you. A short briefing and you will be ready to set sail, leaving the shore behind.
The first stop on the tour is the Borromean Islands, authentic jewels emerging from the lake with their palaces and scenic gardens. You will admire these islands from the best viewpoint: that of the water, without crowds.
Continuing on, you will pass picturesque villages and historic villas reflected in the lake, even more picturesque from the boat's perspective.
The route will take you to the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, set in the rock like a nativity scene suspended over the water. A panorama that alone is worth the tour! If conditions permit, the skipper will also allow you a stop for a refreshing dip.
This will be the setting to enjoy an aperitif on board, with a selection of fried delicacies and porchetta from a local rotisserie, accompanied by fresh fruit, prosecco and soft drinks.
After about two hours of sailing, you will return to Arolo with the feeling of having experienced a little luxury to cherish in your memories.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The tour is bookable from March to October and is intended for private groups of up to 4 participants.
You will be on board an approximately 5-metre motor boat, equipped with awning, ladder, cushions and all necessary safety equipment. Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
