Fancy a moment all your own by the sea in Syracuse?
Enjoy a 3-hour private boat tour with a skipper totally dedicated to you and your group. You'll circumnavigate the island of Ortigia, admire the caves of Syracuse , and sail to the Plemmirio reserve.
The sea all to yourself, what more could you want?
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Syracuse (SR). Awaiting you will be the skipper who will accompany you on your private boat excursion!
You will set sail from the port and head for the spectacular sea caves of Syracuse. You will admire the Grotta di Archimede, the Grotta del Corallo and the Grotta delle Stalattiti, before taking your first swimming break of the day. You will dive for about 15-20 minutes and use the snorkelling masks available on board to observe the underwater life.
You will then continue on to the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area. You will sail along wild cliffs until you reach the ideal spot for your second swimming stop, which lasts about 15-20 minutes.
Turning back, you will finally circumnavigate the island of Ortigia. En route you will make your third bathing stop of about 15-20 minutes at the edge of the island, while admiring the Baroque palaces reflected in the sea. You will observe the Maniace Castle, the Arethusa Spring and the Cathedral.
Finally, you will pass under the historic Umbertino Bridge to return to the port. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; however, staff can assist any passengers with slight mobility difficulties in boarding.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to December and is intended for private groups of up to 12 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the crew's discretion.
The boat used is a Liver trimaran, 8 metres long and equipped with a canopy, freshwater shower, climbing ladder and stereo.
Dogs are welcome on board.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
