This experience is called 'Doge for a day'... and the Doge is you!
Let yourself be transported for 2 hours by boat to discover Venice and explore the canals and monuments that have made the history of the Serenissima with a local skipper .
On this private tour there will be plenty of room for wonder... and for the people you want to bring along!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Venice. Your skipper will be waiting for you, ready to accompany you on this exclusive tour.
You will board the boat and start sailing towards Cannaregio, the most authentic Venetian quarter, with its palazzi overlooking the water. You will sail past theOspedale Civile and the picturesque island-cemetery of San Michele, which houses the tombs of great artists such as Igor Stravinsky.
The tour will continue to theArsenale, the great naval complex where the boats that made Venice master of the seas came to life. You will pass by the Giardini della Biennale, famous for hosting Art and Architecture exhibitions, and skirt the San Marco area with its square and Basilica overlooking the basin.
You will not miss a passage in front of San Giorgio Maggiore, the island with the splendid Palladian church that stands in front of St Mark's, before returning to your starting point. During the navigation, the skipper will tell you curiosities and stories about the places you will see.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs and persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from March to October at weekends and is aimed at private groups of up to 4 participants.
The boat used is a Tempest boat renamed 'TEPA', built at the Cantieri Nautici Solcio in 1967 and recently restored with the utmost care, from the finely polished wood to the elegant upholstery. It is a5.5-metre motor boat, equipped with a canopy, sound system, climbing ladder, icebox and life jackets.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached on foot and by vaporetto. After booking confirmation, an alternative embarkation from another point in Venice can be arranged with the skipper.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
