Private "Extreme South" dinghy tour from Avola with aperitif

Set off on a tour to theextreme south of Sicily and discover the most beautiful locations on the Syracuse coast, such as the Vendicari reserve, Marzamemi and Capopassero.

A private tour in the company of an experienced skipper is the ideal solution for those who want to enjoy an experience in total privacy and tranquillity on board a comfortable dinghy that can carry up to 12 participants.

Get ready to spend half a day being enveloped by a splendid turquoise and crystal-clear sea. Sicilian aperitif on board included!

What we will do

The skipper will be waiting for you at the tourist harbour in Avola (SR), ready to welcome you on a comfortable 8-metre dinghy equipped with every comfort. After a brief introductory briefing, you will depart in a southerly direction for an unforgettable excursion along the Syracuse coastline.

The first stop on the tour will be at the Scogli Bianchi di Lido di Noto, where you can admire the unique rock formations. You will then enter the Vendicari Nature Reserve, passing through the magnificent areas of Eloro and Marianelli. Here you will stop for a refreshing swim in front of the Calamosche beach. Continuing into the heart of the reserve, you will have the opportunity to admire the remains of the Vendicari tuna fishery.

Resuming navigation, you will approach Marzamemi, where you can observe from the dinghy the four Roman columns dating back to the 2nd century AD, at a depth of about 5 metres. The tour will continue to theisland of Capopassero, where you will be able to admire the historic Spanish fortress and, if conditions permit, enter the Grotta del Polipo (Octopus Cave).

We will then leave the Gulf of Noto and travel to theIsle of Correnti, the southernmost point of Sicily. Here we will take advantage of the stop to enjoy a delicious Sicilian aperitif served on board, based on arancini, focaccine, fresh fruit, beer, soft drinks and a toast with Sicilian sparkling wine.

We will then head towards Castello Tafuri, located opposite the island of Capopassero. Here you can take beautiful photographs and swim in the Caribbean-coloured waters. We will then make a 30-minute shore stop at Marzamemi, where you can visit the fishing village.

Depending on the marine weather conditions, we will decide whether to make a final stop near the Calabernardo volcanic spring or in front of the Cicirata beach, just before returning to port.

In total, the excursion will last 6 hours with return to the port of Avola.

This activity is available from May to October, weather permitting, and is reserved for private groups of up to 12 people.

The boat available for the tour is an 8 metre long, 2.80 metre wide798 dinghy with a 225 hp engine. It is equipped with an awning, a deck shower, a stereo system, a bow sundeck, a stern sundeck, a sturdy stainless steel roll bar, a freshwater shower, a swim ladder, USB sockets, an icebox for drinks and a refrigerator.

The dinghy has plenty of space to sit on: a sundeck in the bow, a bench in front of the steering position, a driver's bench, a sofa in the stern with a fold-down backrest, two large stern beaches with a swim ladder and a table in the bow.
