3-hour sailing boat excursion on Lake Iseo

Step aboard this historic sailboat and enjoy an exclusive tour on Lake Iseo. Let the wind carry you on a 3-hour trip in the company of an experienced skipper.

Admire the islands in the middle of the lake or the cliffs and waterfall of Riva di Solto, depending on your chosen starting point, while you relax or assist the skipper in steering the boat. Don't keep Captain Jack Sparrow waiting!

What we will do

The rendezvous will be 10 minutes before the agreed time at Iseo (BS) or Lovere (BG), depending on the preference indicated at the time of booking.

Here you will meet the skipper, who will be at the disposal of your group for this exclusive excursion on board Nessa, a historic two-masted sailing boat, which can accommodate a maximum of 8 people.

If your departure point is Iseo, you will sail to the heart of the lake to admire Monte Isola, Europe's largest lake island, and theisland of San Paolo, a small, privately owned jewel. You can circumnavigate the two islands and sail to the Bergamo shore or to the Torbiere Nature Reserve south of the lake, discovering enchanting bays and views.

If you set off from Lovere, on the other hand, you can admire the islands of Loreto and Monte Isola, and then head off to discover Baia del Bogn, with its cliffs overlooking the lake, the small waterfall of Riva di Solto and the mouth of theOglio. You will have unexpected views before your eyes, of which the skipper will tell you local stories and curiosities.

During navigation, you can decide whether to relax and enjoy the view of the lake or take an active part in the running of the boat: the skipper will be happy to involve you in manoeuvres and reveal the secrets of sailing. If you wish, in fine weather you can also stop for refreshing swim breaks from the boat.

At the end of the excursion you will return to your starting point. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is wheelchair and mobility-impaired accessible: to request assistance with boarding, please inform the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

The activity is available all year round and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 participants.

When booking, it is possible to express a preference for embarkation from Iseo or Lovere. Confirmation of the embarkation point is subject to the organisers' availability.

Depending on the embarkation point and the weather and wind conditions, the skipper will recommend thebest itinerary for sailing, which can be customised according to the clients' requests.

Nessa is a 10-metre-long, two-masted, all-wood, historical sailing boat from 1975. The boat is equipped with a central cockpit, a sunbathing area in the bow, a saloon with galley, an aft master cabin with bathroom, an external shower, mini-bar and safety and toilet facilities. Dogs are allowed on board.

It is possible to bring food and drinks on board, with the exception of red wine, which could damage the wooden parts of the boat.

The meeting points are not easily accessible by public transport; free or paid parking spaces are available nearby.
