3-hour private sailing trip on Lake Iseo

Step aboard this historic sailboat and enjoy an exclusive tour on Lake Iseo. Let the wind carry you on a 3-hour trip in the company of an experienced skipper.

Admire the islands in the middle of the lake or the cliffs and waterfall of Riva di Solto, depending on your chosen starting point, while you relax or assist the skipper in steering the boat. Don't keep Captain Jack Sparrow waiting!

What we will do

Please arrive 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Iseo (BS) . Here you will meet the skipper, who will be at your group’s disposal for this exclusive excursion aboard Nessa, a historic two-masted sailing boat that can accommodate up to 8 people.

If the departure point is Iseo, you’ll sail towards the heart of the lake to admire Monte Isola, Europe’s largest lake island, and the island of San Paolo, a small, privately-owned gem. You’ll be able to sail round both islands and head towards the Bergamo shore or towards the Torbiere Nature Reserve to the south of the lake, discovering enchanting bays and views.

If you set off from Lovere, however, you can admire the islands of Loreto and Monte Isola, before heading off to explore the Baia del Bogn, with its cliffs overlooking the lake, the Riva di Solto waterfall and the mouth of the River Oglio. You’ll be treated to unexpected panoramic views, and the skipper will share local stories and interesting facts with you.

Whilst sailing, you can choose whether to relax and enjoy the view of the lake or get actively involved in steering the boat: the skipper will be happy to involve you in the manoeuvres and reveal the secrets of sailing. If you wish, in the warmer months you can also stop for a refreshing swim from the boat.

At the end of the excursion, you’ll return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The boat is wheelchair and mobility-impaired accessible: to request assistance with boarding, please inform the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

The activity is available all year round and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 participants.

Depending on the boarding point, weather conditions and wind, the skipper will recommend the best sailing route, which can be tailored to customers’ requests.

Nessa is a historic twin-masted sailing boat built in 1975, made entirely of wood and measuring 10 metres in length. The boat features a central cockpit, a sun deck at the bow, a saloon with a galley, a master cabin at the stern with an en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower, a minibar, safety equipment and toilet facilities. Dogs are allowed on board.

You may bring your own food and drink on board, with the exception of red wine, which could damage the boat’s wooden parts.

The meeting points are not easily accessible by public transport; at both locations, free or paid parking is available nearby.
