Full description
Treat yourself to a private surfing lesson face-to-face with an experienced instructor on the San Leone coast of Agrigento. Fall in love with the sport by practising it for the first time or perfect your technique on the board, depending on your starting level.
You will reach the location chosen for the lesson aboard a van and, after warm-up exercises, you will work on your balance, studying currents and waves, to learn how to ride them like a real surfer. It will be 2 hours of pure fun!
What we will do
We will meet in San Leone, where the instructor will be waiting for us with the boards and all the equipment. We will then board the van that will take us to the lesson beach, chosen according to the season and weather conditions.
Some of the best spots for surfing along the coast of Agrigento are the Third Beach of San Leone, Cannatello (seaside village of Agrigento) , and Baia del Kaos (Porto Empedocle). Once at the destination, we will do some stretching with the instructor to gradually prepare the body for the physical activity ahead.
The lesson will consist of a small group of a maximum of four people, so that the instructor can follow each of the participants closely and adapt the teachings to their level.
We will learn the basics of waves and currents, how to get on the board, how to stay balanced and how to perform classic safety manoeuvres ( leash and board recovery). We will thus experience all the beauty of this sport and have fun together with the instructor and our companions.
At the end of the lesson, we will return to the meeting point in the van and will have changing rooms and coin-operated showers to change into.
The total duration of the activity will be 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone from 6 years of age. Up to the age of 12, the presence of a parent is required.
The lesson will be adapted according to the needs and level of the participants. It is not necessary to have previous surfing experience, the only requirement is to be able to swim.
Other information
Private lessons are available from September to May, subject to weather and sea conditions.
During the summer months, only the group lesson is available: Surfing lesson at San Leone in the province of Agrigento.
At the end of the activity, participants will be provided with changing rooms and showers at the nearby campsite.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
