If only people were as consistent as the wind at Stagnone, we’d live in a much simpler world. Here, though, there’s at least one thing you can be sure of: every day is a good day to fly across the water on a wingfoil!
In this 1. 5-hour private lesson, you’ll learn how to handle the sail and board in complete safety, guided step by step by a dedicated instructor.
Flat water, shallow depths and plenty of freedom: the Marsala lagoon is the perfect place to start flying over the water!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before your selected time at the meeting point in Marsala (TP). Your instructor will be waiting for you there and will accompany you throughout the private lesson, staying in the water with you at all times.
The first part of the experience will take place on land. You’ll learn to identify and assemble the equipment – consisting of a board with a foil and a wing (the sail) – and begin to familiarise yourself with how to handle it. The instructor will show you how to hold the wing correctly, maintain your balance and coordinate your movements smoothly. Some time will also be spent on self-rescue drills to ensure your safety. This part will last around 30 minutes.
After that, it will be time to get into the water. You’ll make the most of the shallow depths and calm waters of the Stagnone, which are perfect for focusing on technique without any complications. Here you’ll put what you’ve learnt into practice: posture, getting started, turning, handling the wind, and controlling the foil and wing. Everything will be done gradually, at your own pace and with a fully personalised approach.
During the lesson, you’ll also be guided through some fundamental theoretical concepts: how the foil works, what the ideal conditions are for getting out safely, and how to recognise and interpret the wind.
The lesson will conclude with a brief debriefing on the beach, where you’ll review what you’ve learnt and discuss your next goals.
The lesson will last a total of 1. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on site or have a signed release form.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, but good aquatics skills are required.
The lesson takes place on an individual basis. If you would like to book a private lesson for a couple, please contact us.

The experience is available from March to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.

A changing room with toilet and shower facilities is available on site. Any personal belongings can be stored in a secure common storage room.
Any accompanying persons can wait on the beach where the activity takes place.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
