The wind filling the sails, the beauty of Lake Iseo, a delicious aperitif on board: these are the ingredients for a wonderful trip!
Set sail from Iseo for a 2-hour private excursion aboard the historic sailing boat Nessa, which will take you to discover the lake’s most unexpected sights.
Learn all sorts of interesting facts about the places you visit from the skipper, or , if you’d prefer a more active role, help him steer the boat to learn the main manoeuvres. We look forward to seeing you on board!
What we will do
You’ll meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Iseo (BS) . Here you’ll meet the skipper, who will be entirely dedicated to your group of up to 8 people for this exclusive sailing experience. You’ll board Nessa, an elegant two-masted yacht, ready to take you on a journey of discovery through the wonders of Lake Iseo.
If you’re setting off from Iseo, you’ll sail towards the enchanting island of San Paolo and along the western shore of Monte Isola, Europe’s largest lake island, made famous by Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s art installation *The Floating Piers *. Alternatively, you can explore the southernmost part of the lake.
If, on the other hand, you set off from Lovere, the tour will take you to discover Baia del Bogn, with its cliffs plunging steeply into the lake that are reminiscent of a corner of Thailand, and the mouth of the River Oglio – fascinating places which the skipper will bring to life with stories and interesting facts.
Whilst sailing, you can simply relax and enjoy the view or, if you wish, take part in manoeuvring the boat under the skipper’s guidance. In the warmer months, you can also stop for a refreshing dip straight from the boat.
On board, you’ll be served a delicious aperitif featuring local specialities, including mini pizzas, cold cuts, cheeses and fresh fruit, accompanied by a bottle of excellent wine for every four people.
The excursion will last a total of 2 hours and will end with a return to the starting point.

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is wheelchair and mobility-impaired accessible: to request assistance with boarding, please inform the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

The activity is available all year round and is reserved for private groups of up to 8 participants.
Depending on the boarding point, weather conditions and wind, the skipper will recommend the best sailing route, which can be tailored to customers’ requests.
Nessa is a historic twin-masted sailing boat built in 1975, made entirely of wood and measuring 10 metres in length. The boat features a central cockpit, a sun deck at the bow, a saloon with a galley, a master cabin at the stern with an en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower, a minibar, safety equipment and toilet facilities. Dogs are permitted on board.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email. You may bring your own food and drink on board, with the exception of red wine, which could damage the wooden parts of the boat.
The meeting points are not easily accessible by public transport; at both locations, free or paid parking is available nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
