If you want to learn how to sail, this private lesson on a First 211 cabin cruiser is perfect for you. Choose between a 1, 2 or 3-hour session and get closer to sailing on a spacious and stable boat with an experienced instructor.
Learn how to steer and get to know the basic parts of the boat: boom, mainsail, jib and other magic words will have no more secrets for you!
What we will do
The appointment will be 15 minutes before the chosen time at Isuledda di Arzachena (SS).
Theinstructor will welcome you and take you aboard the First 211 cabin cruiser, where you will begin with an overview of the main parts of the boat and their use.
Once at sea, the instructor will guide you through the basics of sailing: you will discover what the rudder is and how to use it to steer the boat, learn to recognise the wind and interact with the sails to control navigation.
During the lesson you will have the opportunity to put into practice what you have learned, trying to steer and perform simple manoeuvres under the supervision of the instructor. It will be an educational but relaxing experience in the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Arzachena, just opposite theMaddalena Archipelago.
At the end of the lesson, you will return to port, where you will make a brief summary of what you have learnt before saying goodbye.
The activity will last 1, 2 or 3 hours, to be chosen at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 14 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at the meeting point, but can do the activity on their own.
Good mobility and a minimum of water skills are required to participate.

The activity takes place from June to October, privately for a maximum of 2 participants.
Lessons take place on a 6.40-metre First 211 cabin cruiser.
When booking, you can choose between a 1-hour, 2-hour or 3-hour lesson, to be held over the course of a single day.
Showers and toilets are available at the meeting point and any personal belongings can be left in the care of the staff.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site for a fee.
