Private yacht tour to the island of Ponza

What we will do

We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the port of Nettuno, where we will have our first meeting with the skipper who will accompany us on our discovery of theisland of Ponza. Throughout the day we will have exclusive use of a luxury yacht on which to relax and sunbathe.

Before setting off, we will have a briefing in which the skipper will explain the main stages of the excursion ahead of us, established according to wind and sea conditions. At this point we will really be ready to set sail for Ponza.

The itinerary will take us past some of the most beautiful places on Ponza, such as the Grotte di Pilato, the Faraglioni della Madonna, the Frontone beach, the Baia del Frontino, Cala dell'Inferno, and even to theisland of Palmarola if the weather permits.

During the excursion, we will stop at the port of Ponza, where the captain will moor the yacht around lunchtime, allowing us to enjoy local specialities in one of the island's restaurants, stroll through the harbour streets, or simply stay on board for a picnic lunch. Water, soft drinks and fruit snacks will be available on the yacht.

There will of course be no shortage of stops to take a swim or dive off the boat, again to be arranged with the captain. The transparent waters and seabed of Ponza will make us feel immersed in a wonderful natural aquarium. In the afternoon, before heading back, we will enjoy a snack on board, lulled by the gentle waves.

During the tour, photographs will be taken and sent to participants on their mobile phones or by email, so that they will never forget the emotions of this day.

The return to Nettuno is scheduled at around 17:00, for a total duration of 8 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children on board must always be kept under the close supervision of an adult.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The tour is available from May to September, daily, and is reserved for private groups of up to six people.

You will travel aboard the 10-metre yacht Lime Express, model 'FIM 340 REGINA', with two petrol engines of 350 hp each. The yacht is equipped with all comforts, including a shower and toilet, a ladder to ensure an easy descent into the sea, an awning, a large cabin, two beds, a sofa with a television and a kitchen with a large table.

Also on board are a semi-automatic defibrillator, a first aid kit for any eventuality and a satellite telephone. Passengers can access the on-board wi-fi network. The vehicle is equipped with innovative safety systems and tenders. Those travelling with children will find games with which to entertain them, including inflatable jet skis and remote-controlled toy cars.

Small dogs are allowed on board (maximum 1 per person).

On request, a transfer service from Rome to Nettuno is available at a cost of €80. The transfer is carried out in a car that can carry a maximum of 4 passengers. Contact the organisers at the contact details given in the booking confirmation to request this.

It is not possible to bring glass bottles or organise parties on the yacht, but food and drinks for packed lunches are allowed.
