Quad bike tour for couples through the vineyards of Valtellina with snack

'What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine': in this case it applies to quad biking, wine and even dessert!

Set off from Sondrio for a 1.5-hour panoramic quad bike tour; together with your sweetheart (or whoever you like) you can drive through the terraced vineyards of Valtellina and at the end of the experience enjoy local products over a snack.

An adventure designed for couples who love to share everything!

What we will do

The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sondrio (SO). To welcome us, we will find our guide ready to take us on this 4-wheeled adventure!

Before the start, we will have a briefing and a short test drive to get familiar with the quad bike. Once the engines are warmed up, we will be ready to go! We will drive along a scenic route through the municipalities of Buglio in Monte, Ardenno, Berbenno, Maroggia and Postalesio.

Along the route we will admire the so-called 'heroic' vineyards of the Valtellina: in this area, in fact, the slopes have been transformed over time into terraces for the cultivation of vines, thus creating a unique landscape characterised by dry stone walls, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2020.

We will finally return to the meeting point after covering 30 km in about 1 ½ hours. The adventure, however, does not end here because at the end of the tour the guide will give each couple a basket with a snack that includes: 1 bottle of local wine (from the very vineyards we have targeted) and a typical Valtellina dessert.

We can choose whether to enjoy our basket on site, or take it home as a souvenir of the experience.

Who it is aimed at

The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B licence; equivalent foreign licences are permitted. The passenger must be at least 12 years old.

A maximum weight of 160 kg per quad bike (sum of driver and passenger weight) is required to participate.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.

Other information

The experience takes place from March to October.

Driver and passenger can swap driving if both have a valid B licence.

The organiser has 4 quads for a maximum of 8 participants on two-seater quads; there are two options available when booking:

• two-seater quads, for couples wishing to carry out the experience on the same quad bike
• double quad single, if each member of the couple wishes to carry out the experience on different quads

Single participants can book thetwo-seater quad option, which also includes a snack basket.
