Full description
Climb aboard a quad bike and get ready for an adventurous tour through mountain roads and dense forests in the Pollino National Park.
During the two-hour excursion, you will pass through dirt tracks, enchanting forests and spectacular viewpoints from which to admire the wonders of the nearby villages of Santa Domenica Talao and Papasidero.
But there's more: the guides have thought up a delicious gift box of typical Calabrian products for you!
What we will do
We will meet in Tremoli, a hamlet of Papasidero along the Lao river. Before setting off on the excursion, we will have a briefing with the guide on the use of the quad bike and safety regulations.
The guides will take us to discover an area of the Pollino National Park characterised by dense forests, enchanted woods and breathtaking viewpoints.
The first stop will be in Santa Maria, where we will find a water source. Then, climbing further, we will reach the three crosses and a little further on we will be at La Vedetta, a viewpoint over the Riviera dei Cedri and the Lao River Valley.
Before reaching the source of San Pietro il Grasso, we will cross the Grand Canyon, where many fun rafting experiences take place. We will then take the route back to the starting point where we will be given a gift box of typical Calabrian products.
The excursion lasts about two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is of medium difficulty and is aimed at everyoneover the age of 14.
A B licence is required to drive the quad bike.
Other information
The tour runs from March to November and is confirmed when at least 2 quads have been booked.
Important: the participation fee is per quad. One driver and one passenger (with the possibility of swapping driving, if in possession of a B1 licence) can ride on each quad. If you wish to participate alone as a driver, the fee is 100€.
The centre has 5 quads for the use of participants, so up to 10 people can participate at the same time.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
