Different, intense , and exciting: this is how your day will be if you choose to book this quad bike tour in Alghero!
In 4 hours, you will have the opportunity to visit the wildest and most enchanting places in Sardinia, such as Porto Ferro and its beach, where we will make a swimming stop, and Lake Baratz.
Riding the quad bike, you will test your riding skills and discover how practical and easy this means of transport is to drive. Are you ready to set off on this adventure?
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Alghero (SS) . We will find our guide and our quads waiting for us, after which we will have an introductory briefing to learn how to drive the vehicle correctly.
We will drive along some tarmac and dirt roads and proceed into the Monte Doglia natural park area and enjoy the view of Porto Conte and Capo Caccia from above, an area inhabited by various animal species such as fallow deer, deer, foxes, wild boar, donkeys, and horses, which, with a bit of luck, we might come across!
We will then continue to Porto Ferro for a first stop, where the only buildings are the Aragonese Towers dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Back on board our quads, we will drive to Lake Baratz, Sardinia's last natural lake, to observe its ecosystem and listen to its relaxing sounds, and for a second stop.
The third and last stop on our tour will finally be the beautiful beach of Porto Ferro, where we will take a break of about 45 minutes amidst crystal-clear waters and golden sands (yes, we will also be able to swim if we wish! ). There is also a bar on site, where you can refresh yourself with a drink (included) .
Finally, we will return to the starting point after travelling about 35 km. The quad bike excursion will take 3. 5 hours, while the activity will last about 4 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
Drivers must be over 18 years of age and hold a B or A1 driving licence. However, only with a B licence will it be possible to carry a second passenger.
The activity is of medium difficulty. The minimum age for participating as a passenger is 5 years.
Persons with disabilities or illnesses are permitted, if their medical records and physical condition allow it.
Other information
The tour is available from May to October.
Attention! If a B licence is not presented, it will not be possible to conduct the activity as a driver.
The fee is per quad bike; the organiser has 11 Aodes 525 4x4 two-seater quads with automatic gearbox that can accommodate 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 22 participants maximum. It is not possible to swap quad driving during the tour.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is a car park on site. There is a bus stop near the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
