Different, intense , and exciting: this is how your day will be if you choose to book this quad bike tour in Alghero!
In 4 hours, you will have the opportunity to visit the wildest and most enchanting places in Sardinia, such as Porto Ferro and its beach, where we will make a swimming stop, and Lake Baratz.
Riding the quad bike, you will test your riding skills and discover how practical and easy this means of transport is to drive. Are you ready to set off on this adventure?
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Alghero (SS). Our guide and our quads will be waiting for us there, after which we’ll have an introductory briefing to learn how to ride the quads properly.
We’ll travel along a mix of tarmac and dirt tracks, making our way into the Monte Doglia Nature Reserve to enjoy the view of Porto Conte and Capo Caccia from above – an area home to various animal species such as fallow deer, deer, foxes, wild boars, donkeys and horses – which, with a bit of luck, we might spot!
We’ll then continue on to Porto Ferro for our first stop, where the only buildings are the Aragonese Towers dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Back on our quads, we’ll ride to Lake Baratz, Sardinia’s last remaining natural lake, to observe its ecosystem, listen to its soothing sounds and take a second break.
The third and final stop on our tour will be the stunning beach at Porto Ferro, where we’ll take a break of around 45 minutes amidst crystal-clear waters and golden sands (yes, if we fancy it, we can even go for a swim! ). There is also a bar on site, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink (not included) .
We’ll then return to the starting point after covering a distance of around 35 km .The quad bike excursion will last 3½ hours, whilst the activity as a whole will last around 4 hours .
Who it is aimed at
Drivers must be over 18 years of age and hold a B or A1 driving licence. However, only with a B licence will it be possible to carry a second passenger.
The activity is of medium difficulty. The minimum age for participating as a passenger is 5 years.
Persons with disabilities or illnesses are permitted, if their medical records and physical condition allow it.

The tour is available from May to October.
Please note! If you are unable to produce a Category B driving licence, you will not be permitted to take part as a driver.
The price is per quad; the organiser has 6 two-seater Aodes 525 4x4 quads with automatic transmission, each capable of carrying 1 driver and 1 passenger, for a maximum of 12 participants in total. It is not possible to swap places at the wheel of the quad during the tour.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
There is a car park on site. There is a bus stop near the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
