Full description
Climb aboard a sprightly quad bike and set off on a half-day tour to discover theGolgo Plateau on the east coast of Sardinia.
Starting from Ardali, in the province of Nuoro, you will enjoy driving along a panoramic route through the mountains until you reach the Golgo di Baunei. In the heart of the plateau, you will admire the suggestive 'Su Sterru', a deep chasm shrouded in mysteries and ancient legends.

What we will do
We will be in Ardali, in the province of Nuoro. Here our guide will be waiting for us and, after a briefing on the activity and safety rules, we will set off on our quad bike tour to the Golgo Plateau.
From Ardali, we will pass through Osono and arrive at Genna Ramene via a scenic route through the mountains. The first stop will be Faccia Litica, a rock face that, due to erosion, has taken on the appearance of a face.
We will then continue on to Nuraghe Albu, a complex of basalt blocks of historical value. We will then visit the small Church of San Pietro until we reach the suggestive chasm "Su Sterru".
At this point, we ascend towards Baunei to admire Pedra Longa, a limestone cliff overlooking the sea, and Punta Giradili, the highest cliff in Sardinia. Here, at 600 metres above sea level, we will make a scenic stop to take magnificent photos.
We will return to the starting point after having covered about 60 km along a loop route through equally impressive dirt tracks. The hike will last a total of four hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion has a medium difficulty level and is suitable for those who already have driving experience.
A driving licence is required to drive the quad bike. The minimum age for passengers is 8 years.
Other information
The activity takes place in the period from March to November , depending on weather conditions. The excursion is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 2 quads. There are 5 qu ads for a maximum of 10 participants.
The fee is per quad and each quad can carry two persons, the driver and passenger.
