An aperitif in the mountains of Sardinia? No, we're not crazy, it's all true!
Set off with our guide for a quad bike excursion in the Barbagia di Seulo, where among natural springs and millenary forests , coolness (and refreshment) is assured. Yes, because at more than 1,000 metres above sea level, an aperitif stop awaits you, to be enjoyed while admiring the panorama over the villages of the Sardinian hinterland.
It will be a3-hour adventure to discover the wildest and most unspoilt side of Sardinia. What are you waiting for? Ajo!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Seulo (SU) where our guide will be waiting for us.
Once the participants have gathered, we will listen to a briefing on how to drive the quad bike and we will also have the opportunity to do some test driving. Afterwards, the route we will take will be explained to us and at this point we will be ready to go!
We will set off from Seulo and head into Sardinia's primary forest, an unspoilt woodland covering some three hundred hectares and populated by thousand-year-old holm oaks. Along the way, we will make a few stops to drink from the numerous natural springs, until we reach an altitude of 1,200 metres!
Once we reach our destination, the panorama of the surrounding villages of theSardinian hinterland will open up before us, including Seulo, Sadali, Seui and on the other side Villagrande Strisaili.
But the highlight of the experience comes now: surrounded by nature, we will enjoy an aperitif during which we will taste local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine.
We will finally return to the meeting point, after having covered a total of around 24 km on roads and paths mainly through the forest.
Thequad bike excursion will last approximately 3 hours, while the total experience generally lasts 3 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October.
The price is per quad bike, each quad bike can take 2 people, a driver and a passenger. There are 4 quads available, for a maximum of 8 participants. Drivers and passengers can swap driving if both have a B licence.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
