Ahike as wild as the Sardinian hinterland? Here it is!
During this 3-hour quad bike adventure, you will immerse yourself in a area characterised by rich and lush nature. From Burcei, you will discover mountain peaks such as Monte Serpeddi, the highest peak in southern Sardinia.
A chance to spend a different day and discover a different Sardinia, never seen before!
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Burcei (SU) where we will be welcomed by our guide. Before setting off, we will have a briefing of about half an hour where the operation of the quad bike will be explained to us and we will be given helmets. Afterwards, we will take a test ride on the quad bike to familiarise ourselves with the vehicle.
Once this first phase is over, we will set off in the direction of Monte Serpeddi, the highest point in South Sardinia at 1069 metres. We will pass through various localities, including Mitza Crubetta, Figu Erga, Su Cuaddu Mottu, Serpeddì and Corr'e Cerbu.
Particularly impressive will be the stop at the Musui forest, where we will be able to admire centuries-old holm oaks, cork trees and the Mediterranean maquis growing luxuriantly. Along the way, there will be no shortage of stops at panoramic viewpoints to take beautiful photos.
At the end of the excursion, we will stop at a local bar where we will be offered a drink. This will be a time to chat with the guide and comment on the hike before saying goodbye.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours and includes a briefing, scenic stops and a stop for a small toast.
Who it is aimed at
To drive the quad bike , one must be 18 years old and have a B licence. A minimum age of 5 is required for passengers.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, weather permitting.
Important: the cost of 110€ is per quad. Each quad can carry 2 people (one driver and one passenger, with the possibility of swapping driving). The organisation provides 5 quads for a maximum of 10 participants.
Only in the month of August will it be possible to ask the organiser to vary the excursion slightly in order to stop at a farmhouse with a swimming pool and spend the last hour of the excursion there, sipping a drink (supplement €10 per quad).
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
