Full description
Spend half a day of adventure and discovery on an exciting quad bike tour in the magnificent Gulf of Orosei, one of the most beautiful parts of Sardinia.
Have fun driving along a 25-km mostly unpaved route within an unspoilt natural complex that showcases the rugged beauty of the island. Your guide will take you along little-trodden roads and fascinating sights, such as the Canalone di Osala viewpoint and the delightful cove of Osala.
Finally, stop near the beach to enjoy an aperitif of cold cuts and cheese, accompanied by local wine and water. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the meeting point near Orosei, where I will give a briefing during which I will show you how a quad bike works and also give you a test ride. At the end of this first stage, we will set off on an adventure!
On a 25-km route of dirt road and very little asphalt, we will make several stops while admiring interesting sites. In the Gulf of Orosei, one stop is the belvedere of the Canalone di Osala, which will take us to the Asinelli (donkeys), an area where you can admire these cute animals and maybe give them a few strokes.
We will then pass through the Osala wall and descend to the cove of the same name, a beautiful expanse of clear, bright, fine sand, where we will stop for about three quarters of an hour to dive, sunbathe and have fun.
At the end of the stop, we will re-board the quad bike and head to one of the other two locations: to the Church of San Giovanni Battista or to Cala Cartoe. Near the beach, in an equipped area, we will take another break of about 30 minutes where you can enjoy an appetising aperitif, a board of cold meats and cheeses, accompanied by local wine and water.
We will then return to the starting point. The duration of the tour is 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to everyone over the age of 10. To ride the quad bike you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid A or B driving licence.
Other information
The quad bike excursion is available every day from March to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 quads.
Attention! Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of the activity. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The facility has 8 quads, including 3 two-seater CF Motors (450 CC, 4x4) and 5 one-seater New Force (250 CC).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
