If you love Sicily and want to visit its most evocative places, far from the emblazoned destinations, you absolutely cannot miss the 4-hour quad bike tour around Cefalù.
You can try driving the quad bike on various types of terrain along a route of about 50 km in the Sicilian hinterland, the truest and most sanguine part of this fascinating island.
The excursion will take you to the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna, on the unpaved paths of the Madonie mountain range, and then to Castelbuono, a medieval village of 10,000 inhabitants. Here, a tasting of sweet products from a renowned local pastry shop will await you.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cefalù (PA). On arrival, we will be welcomed by the guides and, once the group is formed, we will have a 15-minute briefing on the operation of the quad bike and safety rules. After a short test ride, we will be ready to set off.
Once this part is over, we will get on the vehicle and head for the first stage of the excursion, the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna, following a 14-kilometre asphalt path. We will cross the wooded slopes of Pizzo Sant'Angelo, where it is said the Madonna performed miracles.
After visiting the Sanctuary, we will move along the unpaved paths of the Madonie mountain massif. We will then reach Castelbuono, a medieval village nestled in a valley and surrounded by rocks and nature. This area is also known for the cultivation of manna, a typical Sicilian product. In the main square of the village we will stop for about 40 minutes for a tasting of sweets from a renowned pastry shop in the area.
We will then get back on the quad bike to explore the Madonie Park, a place of incredible natural beauty. There will be other stops at vantage points to observe the breathtaking panorama of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands. Finally, we will return to the starting point in Cefalù.
The excursion will last a total of four hours and includes a briefing, quad bike ride and stops, including the longest for a tasting session.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B driving licence (to be carried and shown when driving on the day of the activity). For passengers the minimum age is 5 years.

The activity is available all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 quads.
Each quad bike can carry two people, a driver and a passenger. There are 5 quads available for a maximum total of 10 participants. Drivers and passengers may swap driving, as long as one person with a B licence always drives.
There is paid parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
