Discover the treasures of Umbria with a2-hour quad bike excursion in the Colfiorito Highlands and explore an area rich in surprises and traditions, accompanied by a local guide.
Climb aboard the powerful 4x4 vehicle and enjoy driving on country paths between dirt tracks and marshes, in a tour that alternates theadrenaline of off-roading with the relaxation ofimmersion in nature.
The final stop on the route is afarm where you will stop to taste the typical products of these lands: legumes, cereals, oil and many other delicacies!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time in Foligno (PG). The activity will begin with an introductory briefing, an explanation on theuse of the quad bikes, and a test drive to get familiar with the vehicle.
Once on board, we will set off on anexcursion to the Colfiorito Highlands. This is a hilly region in the heart ofUmbria, formed by karstic basins that once contained lakes. Due to drainage, today only a few marshy stretches remain, making this land particularly fertile, lush and suitable for the cultivation of legumes and cereals... as well as perfect for a quad bike ride!
We will ride along scenic paths, country lanes, dirt tracks and marshy stretches, where off-road driving will be at its most fun! The landscape will be a mix of colours that vary according to the seasons: from the expanses of colourful flowers in spring to the warm hues of autumn.
Towards the end of the tour, we will stop at afarm for a guided tour and a tasting of typical local products. Finally, at around 1pm we will return to the starting point.
The route has a total length of about 45 km and the actual driving time on the quad bike is about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is for everyone and is open to all B licence holders. Children from 6 years of age can also board the quad bike as passengers.
Other information
This activity is available from January to December, and is confirmed when at least 3 quads are booked. The centre has 5 qu ads for a maximum of 10 participants in total.
Important: the participation fee of 140€ includes a quad bike and a tasting for 2 persons. One driver and one passenger can travel on the quad bike and, if necessary, the two can swap driving during the tour.
