The smell of wet earth, the roar of the engine and a trail of mud behind you: welcome to your quad bike tour in the Ticino Park, a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore!
For 1 hour you will ride a powerful quad bike in the company of a guide, crossing wooded paths, fords and puddles that are just begging to be tackled.
A perfect adventure if you love true off-road experiences: getting dirty is practically obligatory, having even more fun!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Sesto Calende (VA). Here you will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us for the entire excursion and give you a technical briefing on how to ride the quad bike safely, including a helmet and the necessary equipment.
We will then climb aboard our 330cc Polaris Trail Boss quads, which are easy to drive thanks to the automatic gearbox and handlebar brakes, and set off on an approximately 20 km route through the heart of the Ticino Park.
We will ride through dense woods and dirt stretches that will take us along banks and clearings, passing through puddles and muddy stretches that will test our desire for adventure. There will be no lack of short stops to admire the wild nature of the park and take a few photos.
Halfway along the route, those who wish will be able to switch places with a passenger, so that we can both experience the adrenalin rush that riding a quad gives.
The itinerary will also touch on some panoramic stretches from which you will be able to catch a glimpse of Lake Maggiore, before returning to Sesto Calende via a final stretch of forest.
The activity will last a total of 1.5 hours, of which about 1 hour of actual driving.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 8 years old.
The maximum total weight of the crew on the quad bike is 160 kg.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Caution! Should the guide find a potentially dangerous situation due to the rider's irresponsibility in driving the vehicle, he/she will be fully entitled to terminate the excursion.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round with different departure times depending on the season and is confirmed on reaching at least 3 booked quads. If the minimum number is not reached, it is possible to carry out the activity on a private basis with a supplement of €30.00 (per single quad booked) or €40.00 (total for 2 quads booked) to be paid on site.
When booking, you can choose between"Single quad" for 1 driver or"Two-seater quad" for 1 driver and 1 passenger. Drivers and passengers can swap driving if both have a B licence.
There are 7 Polaris Trail Boss 330cc quads available for a total of 14 participants. For large groups requiring more than 7 quads, please contact us in private to receive an ad hoc offer.
The excursion remains confirmed even if it rains, unless we communicate otherwise in the event of weather events that make the excursion unsafe: please adapt your clothing to the weather of the day. You will find toilets where you can change at the headquarters.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
