Explore a land full of charm and nature with aquad bike excursion in the Menotre Valley and discover the heart of Umbria on board the grittiest four-wheeler there is!
A local guide will take you on the area's most evocative routes through woods, countryside and hills, where you can have fun experimenting with off-road driving on different types of terrain.
At the end of the tour, end on a high note with lunch or an aperitif based on typical Umbrian products: cold cuts, cheeses, preserves and many other specialities!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity is set 15 minutes before the selected time at an estate a few kilometres from Foligno, in the province of Perugia. After the welcome, we will have a briefing on the activity and the use of the quad bikes. We will be shown the controls and safety rules and, before setting off, we will be able to take a short test drive, if necessary.
The quad bike excursion includes a route of about 30 km around the estate, on country roads and forest paths. The guide will choose a more or less demanding variant, depending on the experience level of the group. In all cases, the route will alternate between scenic stret ches to be undertaken in tranquillity and stretches where you will push on the accelerator to taste theadrenaline of driving on dirt, dust and mud!
The quad bike tour lasts 1.5 hours and will end around 11:00 am. On the way back we will stop at the estate, where we will be guests of the guides for lunch or an aperitif based on typical Umbrian products, homemade or from local farms.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is for everyone and is open to all B licence holders. Children from 6 years of age can also board the quad bike as passengers.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from January to December, and is confirmed once at least 2 qu ads have been booked. The centre has 5 qu ads for a maximum of 10 participants in total.
Important: the €110 participation fee includes a quad bike and lunch for one person, while the €140 fee includes a quad bike and lunch for 2 people. One driver and one passenger may travel on the quad bike, and the two may swap driving during the tour.
For afternoon excursions, an aperitif with drinks and typical products will be offered instead of lunch.
