Full description
We all know about the Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea. And what about the Alimini Lakes, yet another natural spectacle of the Salento.
You can admire both of these attractions by taking part in our quad bike tour: in the company of a guide, you will venture into the Salento nature starting from Melendugno. There will be a couple of photo stops along the way to contemplate the irresistible beauty of the area!
A riding experience of over 1 hour, whizzing through the Mediterranean maquis.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Melendugno (LE). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this quad bike experience!
Once all the participants have gathered, theequipment will be handed over, followed by an explanation of how to ride the quad bike and all the useful information for the activity will be provided.
It is then that the real adventure will begin: we will speed through the countryside and pine forests characterised by Mediterranean scrub until we reach the Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea; here we will make an initial photographic stop to contemplate this spectacle of nature. We will then continue on to the Alimini Lakes, where a second photo stop is planned to frame this corner of Salento. The itinerary is on mixed terrain and includes a few safe crossings on asphalt.
After covering about 15 km, we will return to the meeting point. The quad bike excursion will last 1 hour and 10 minutes; the total experience will last 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 16 years old and hold an A1 licence; in this case, he may not carry a passenger. A driver who is at least 18 years of age and holds a B licence may carry a passenger.
The passenger must be at least 8 years old.
A maximum weight of 150 kg per quad bike is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first quad bike excursion.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theitinerary and duration of the activity are variable depending on weather conditions, number, experience and speed of participants at the guide's discretion.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the experience can stay at the facility where there is a children's play area. Dogs on a leash are allowed at the facility but it is necessary to contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
