Experience nature in an alternative way and admire the beauty of theUmbrian Apennine landscapes with aquad bike excursion in the Menotre Valley near Foligno (PG).
A local guide will accompany you along the most evocative and enjoyable quad bike routes, including dirt roads, dusty tracks, and streams to ford.
Test your driving skills on the four-wheeler and discover the heart of Umbria accompanied by the roar of the engine!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the selected time at an estate surrounded by greenery, a few kilometres from the centre of Foligno (PG). First, we will have a briefing on safety regulations and the use of the quad bikes. The guide will explain the controls and give us a little test drive, if we need it, before setting off on the excursion.
When we are all ready, we will take one of the routes from the estate through the surrounding hills, woods and countryside. The guide will choose a more or less demanding itinerary, depending on the participants' average level of experience.
Taking advantage of the vehicle's versatility, we will try out different types of terrain: fromasphalt to dirt, from stones to gravel. With the right weather conditions, we can also ford small streams and venture into mud puddles and dirt mounds... because no quad bike tour worth its name ends with clean clothes!
During one of the stops on the tour, you will be able to swap guides with your passenger. The excursion will end with the return to base, after a distance of about 30 km, which can be covered in 1.5 hours. The activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for all B licence holders. Children from 6 years of age can also board the quad bike as passengers.
Other information
The activity is available from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 booked quads.
Important: the participation fee is per quad. If you book a quad bike, you will be able to take a passenger with you free of charge (and you can, if necessary, swap driving during the ride). A maximum of 5 quads are available (10 participants in total).
