Explore the fascinating territory of the Barese Murgia on board a quad bike and have fun driving the four-wheeler on dirt tracks amidst centuries-old olive trees.
Discover unusual places and immerse yourself in the scents and colours of sunny Apulia for afun and scenic experience for everyone.
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Monopoli (BA), where we will meet the guide who will assign us the quads and conduct an introductory briefing on the route and safety rules. A small driving test to gain confidence with the vehicle and we will be ready to leave for theexcursion in the Murgia Barese.
The Murge are a vast plateau located in the central part of Puglia. They are characterised by karstic terrain and the presence of Mediterranean vegetation, including olive groves and vineyards. We will come into close contact with nature, moving away from the more touristy routes to discover the authentic heart of Apulia, made up of traditions and people's stories, which the guide will be pleased to tell us.
We will stop at the rural hamlet of Cristo delle Zolle, where we can admire a Baroque church springing up among olive trees, and at the Lama dell'Assunta, one of the most interesting rock sites in the area. Along the way we will also stop at a cove to enjoy a refreshing swim or lie in the sun.
The route will be mainly unpaved but without any particular technical difficulties, so it is suitable for anyone with a B licence.
Once back at the starting point, we will enjoy a tasting at a masseria with a platter of cold meats and cheeses, focaccia and wine.
The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is suitable for everyone with the only requirement to have a B licence.
The minimum age for the passenger is 10 years.
The maximum weight limit per quad is 130 kg.
Other information
The activity can be carried out from April to October, subject to weather conditions and the availability of the guide, and is confirmed on reaching 2 booked quads.
The centre has 7 quads for a total of 14 participants. Driver and passenger can swap driving during the tour.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
