The Sos Nibberos forest is the largest yew forest in Italy and has been declared a natural monument by the Region of Sardinia. And it is in this splendid natural setting that our quad bike excursion takes place, to discover the surprising Sardinian hinterland.
A 3-hour experience marked by prehistoric tombs, nuraghi and panoramic views!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Bono (SS). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and will provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready to saddle up and press the accelerator on our quad bike excursion. We will ride an initial stretch on asphalt and then venture onto dirt roads, penetrating the surprising Sardinian hinterland. We will speed through the natural setting of the thousand-year-old forest of Sos Nibberos until we reach the summit of Monte Rasu, at an altitude of 1,200 metres. We will continue exploring the area, encountering attractions such as Domus de Janas and nuraghi; there will also be points of natural interest such as natural springs and panoramic views.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B licence; equivalent foreign licences are accepted. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.
A maximum weight of 160 kg per quad bike (sum of driver and passenger weight) is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first quad bike excursion.
Other information
The experience is available from March to November and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 booked quads.
The excursion takes place even in slightly bad weather.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
