Quad bike tour in the UNESCO Beech Forest of Lake Bracciano

So much for slow walking: you start the engine and go in search of adventure.

With this 3-hour quad bike tour you set off from Trevignano Romano and get on a vehicle ready to tackle the most adventurous tracks of the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park. You will drive as far as the Monte Raschio beech forest, a UNESCO World Heritage wonder that has remained intact over time thanks to the lake's microclimate.

Forget the usual stroll: here you will whizz through the wilderness and return home with a smile (and a full phone gallery) !

What we will do

We will meet in Trevignano Romano (RM), 15 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking. We will first attend a briefing and carry out a driving test.

Once our level has been established, the guides will decide on which variant of the route to carry out the excursion. Afterwards, we will set off for the UNESCO World Heritage beech forest of Monte Raschio, in the municipality of Oriolo Romano, a truly unique place due to its location. Usually, in fact, beech forests rise between 700 and 900 metres above sea level. Here, at only 450 metres, there is instead one of the most luxuriant beech forests in Europe!

We will ride on dirt and gravel roads and cross uneven sections to have fun and make the most of the quad bike's potential; the experience will be carried out in full respect of the natural setting, on authorised roads.

The influence of the lake, with its microclimate and wet currents, guarantees lushness and provides an ideal habitat for many species of wild animals, such as hawks, foxes and turtles. We will meet many of them along the way, so watch out for the accelerator!

We will also stop at several vantage points to take some photos and walk through the beech forest trying out silvotherapy, i. e. hugging a tree and recharging ourselves with positive energy!

After leaving the beech forest, we will get back on the quad bike and return to the meeting point. The excursion will last approximately 3 hours in total .

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age (passenger). To drive the quad bike, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a B licence or an equivalent foreign licence.

The original driving licence must be presented prior to the start of the activity. Photos or copies of the document will not be accepted.

Attention! In the event that the licence (physical document) is not presented, the organiser may reserve the right not to run the activity.

The activity is available from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 booked quads.

The tour is conducted at a moderate speed and participants are required to follow the guide's directions while respecting the landscape in which the experience takes place.

The price is per quad: the facility has 4 Kymco quads for a total of 8 participants including drivers and passengers. Each quad can carry one passenger and one driver (with the possibility of swapping driving).

The fee includes the membership card (included) needed to carry out the activity with the facility's quads.

The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; free parking is available on site.
