Quad tour in the Vicenza hills near Bassano del Grappa

Fancy getting out into nature but camping isn’t really your thing? Hop on a quad bike and set off to explore the Pedemontana Veneta!

In Romano d’Ezzelino, a local guide will take you on a circular route of around 30 km along dirt tracks, over hills, through vineyards and past streams. A two-and-a-half-hour excursion to explore the landscapes of the Grappa foothills and, above all, have fun riding.

Because some roads are definitely more interesting once the tarmac ends!

What we will do

We’ll meet 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Romano d’Ezzelino (VI), where our guide will be waiting for us.

Before setting off to explore the hills around Vicenza, we’ll have a briefing lasting about 15 minutes, during which we’ll get to grips with the quad bike by doing a few test laps in an open area.

Once ready, we’ll ride through the village streets and soon leave the tarmac behind as we head into the Pedemontana Veneta countryside.

A route of around 30 km awaits us, taking in dirt tracks, hills, vineyards and streams. Following the guide, we’ll reach the roads connecting the small hamlets of the Pedemontana del Grappa, alternating between more scenic stretches and others where the sheer pleasure of riding the quad will take centre stage.

At the end of the circular route, we’ll return to the starting point. The quad bike excursion will last 2½ hours; the total experience will last 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a Category B driving licence or an equivalent international driving licence that is valid in Italy. Passengers must be at least 8 years old.

This experience is classified as ‘easy’ and is suitable for a first quad bike excursion.

To take part on the two-seater quad bike, the combined weight of the driver and passenger must not exceed 140 kg; for the two-seater plus quad bike, the limit is 180 kg for the driver and passenger combined. Participants weighing more than 120 kg may only book the single-seater quad bike option.

The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed once a minimum of four quad bikes have been booked.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

The duration of the excursion may vary depending on the number and experience of the participants.

To ensure the activity takes place safely, you must follow the guide’s instructions throughout the experience. Failure to do so may result in the guide terminating your participation in the activity.

The driver and passenger, provided they both hold a Category B driving licence or equivalent foreign licence, may take turns at the wheel during the excursion.

The meeting point is accessible by public transport.
