Full description
The Pollino National Park is one of our favourite adrenaline-pumping destinations!
And in fact, it is precisely in this natural setting that our quad bike excursion takes place: in the company of a guide, you will venture into the Argentino River Nature Reserve and along the banks of the Lao River, whizzing partly along an off-road route.
A3-hour excursion in the saddle, at the end of which you won't want to let go of the accelerator!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Scalea (CS). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure on four wheels!
Once all the participants have gathered, a briefing will take place during which the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and provide all the useful information for the experience. We will then take a test drive around the property to get familiar with the vehicle.
With our hands ready to press the accelerator, we will set off on our quad bike excursion: we will start from a paved road leading to the Argentino River Nature Reserve, into which we will enter and where we will make a brief stop. We will then continue on to Orsomarso, driving through the historical centre of this characteristic village where we will make a second short stop.
From here we will venture on a dirt road into the Pollino National Park, fording a river. This will be the start of the most exciting part of the excursion, completely off-road: we will drive along the edge of the raging Lao river, having fun speeding along paths that will put us to the test!
We will finally return to the meeting point, after having covered a total of around 28 km. The quad bike excursion will last 3 hours; the total experience will last 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 7 years old.
A maximum weight of 200 kg per pair is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 3 booked quads.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Driver and passenger, if both have a B licence, can swap driving during the excursion.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
