Full description
Climb aboard a quad bike and set off on anadventurous excursion around Ribera, among beautiful coastal landscapes and unspoilt natural areas.
Starting from the centre of the 'City of Oranges', you will reach the ancient Poggiodiana Castle and then the Agrigento coast near Eraclea Minoa.
You will wade through streams, travel along dirt roads, and explore wild places for half a day of nature and fun!
What we will do
We will meet in Ribera, in the province of Agrigento. We will meet the guide who will accompany us on the excursion, and first we will have a briefing on the use of quad bikes and safety rules. A brief test to test the controls, and we will be ready to set off on the quad bike tour.
Starting from the historical centre of Ribera, we will move towards the countryside where theancient Norman castle of Poggiodiana is located, which stands on a hill surrounded by greenery. Along the way, we will admire the canyon of the Verdura river, encounter torrents to ford, and ascend the plateaus while enjoying a splendid panorama.
Afterwards, we will set off towards the sea, heading for the coast of Eraclea Minoa. We will then continue along the seafront of Seccagrande and the striking, wild coast of Piana Grande. On the way back we will pass through Borgo Bonsignore and from here, crossing wooded areas, fields and paths, we will return to base.
The activity will last three hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to anyone with an A or B licence; equivalent foreign licences are allowed.
You can ride from the age of 16, while the minimum age to ride the quad bike as a passenger is 5.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from March to November.
Important: the fee is per quad. One driver and one passenger can travel on each quad bike (with the possibility of swapping driving during the excursion). The centre has 9 quads for a total of 18 participants. There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
