Full description
Enter the Pollino National Park on board a gritty four-wheeler in which you will experience the thrill of driving off-road. But the real thrill of this adventure will come in the darkness of the night that will loom over our track.
The dirt roads and Calabrian undergrowth will make the experience even more evocative and adrenaline-pumping, where the silence of the forest will be interrupted only by the roar of the engines.
If you love adventure and the world of night, this quad bike tour in the Pollino Park is what you are looking for!
What we will do
We will meet in Tremoli, a hamlet in the municipality of Papasidero (CS) at 10pm. We will be welcomed by the guides and, first, we will have a briefing on theuse of the quad bike.
We will mount the quads, arrange ourselves in a line and be ready to leave. We will enter dense forests where darkness will reign and the only lights will be those of the headlights of our vehicles. We will drive up the Santa Maria climb and arrive at a water source where we will be able to switch off our engines to savour the total silence of the night interrupted by the flow of water.
We will set off again and climb to reach the three crosses that will lead us to La Vedetta, where during the day you can admire a spectacular panorama of the Riviera dei Cedri and the Lao River Valley.
Before reaching the source of San Pietro il Grasso, we will cross the Grand Canyon, where many fun rafting experiences take place. Having recharged our batteries, we will get back on the quad bike to return to our starting point after about an hour's excursion and after driving 9 km.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is simple and is suitable for everyoneover the age of 5.
A B1 driving licence is required to drive the quad bike .
Other information
The tour runs from March to October and is confirmed when at least 2 quads have been booked.
The participation fee refers to the number of quads for which reservations are to be made. On each quad bike there can be one driver and possibly one passenger, who will be able to swap driving if they both hold a B1 licence. During the booking process you will be able to select:
- Quad bike adult for 1 driver and possibly one passenger over the age of 14
- Quad adult and child for 1 driver and 1 passenger aged 5 to 13.
The centre has 5 quads for the use of participants, so up to 10 people can take part at the same time.
