Full description
Lake Como needs no introduction. But if you really want to experience it, the best perspective is from your hired dinghy.
From Lecco, you can set off at the helm of a 5. 6-metre Flyer with a 40 hp engine: you don't need a licence, just the desire to take the helm. It is stable, spacious and easy to drive, so you can enjoy the day without worries.
You have everything you need on board: awning, stereo system, shower and comfortable space to lie in the sun. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Lecco starting at 9: 00 am. After a welcome by the staff and the necessary paperwork, there will be a short briefing on the operation of the vehicle, navigation rules, and safety. In about ten minutes you will be ready to go!
The Flyer dinghy measures 5. 6 m in length and 2. 5 m in width. Ideal for groups of up to 8 persons, it is equipped with awning, stereo system, deck shower, bow and stern sundeck, ladder, USB socket, manoeuvring propeller, and nautical charts. An icebox is available on request.
From here you can decide on your course: stop in a quiet bay for a dip, sail through picturesque villages or skirt the mountains that drop sheer to the lake.
Finally, you will return the dinghy to the departure pier after 4 hours or 8 hours of rental (depending on the option chosen) .
Who it is aimed at
The driver of the boat must be at least 18 years old. A boating licence is not required.
Passengers of any age may board the boat.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible but is accessible for people with mobility problems. We recommend that you contact the skipper in advance to arrange this (you will receive the contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation) .
Other information
The dinghy is available from February to November. You can choose to hire it for half a day (10: 00-14: 00 or 14: 00-18: 00) or for the whole day (10: 00-18: 00) .
Fuel is not included in the fee and must be paid for on return, in cash.
Important: a deposit of €500 may be required by pre-authorisation on your credit card. Cheques, cash or prepaid cards are not accepted.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; paid parking spaces are available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
