In Guarene, in the heart of the Roero, there is a special place where 'slow life' is not a trend, but a real way of life.
A place where you can rent a vintage Vespa, mount the saddle and drive for awhole day (or just half, or even just two hours) along scenic roads, vineyards and hillsides.
Needless to say, the kilometres are unlimited. The fun too!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time onwards at the pick-up point in Guarene (CN). To welcome you, you will find the hirer ready to hand over the vehicle reserved for you: a vintage Vespa 125 cc (1960s, 1970s or 1980s) with manual gearbox, a symbol of Italian excellence throughout the world.
Once you have been shown how the bike works, you can climb into the saddle and set off. It will be up to you to choose the itinerary of this two-wheeled adventure! From the historic villages of the Roero, you will ride to the territories of the Langhe and Monferrato, following panoramic roads through vineyards and hills.
On the way, you will have the freedom to stop wherever you like, taking the opportunity, for example, to visit Alba, the Barolo and Barbaresco cellars, and other attractions in the area. If, on the other hand, you choose the sunset rental, the price includes an aperitif on the terrace with a panoramic view, including a glass of wine and a small plate of cold meats and cheeses.
You will then have to return to the meeting point by the agreed time. The hire will last a total of 8 hours (full day), 4 hours (half-day) or 2 hours (sunset) depending on the option chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old, hold a B licence and have previous moped/motorcycle driving experience.
The passenger must be at least 12 years old (or be able to put their feet on the ground independently on board the vehicle).
Other information
Rental is available every day from April to November, except for the "sunset (2 hours)" option, which is only available from Monday to Friday.
The price is per Vespa; the organiser has 3 125 cc Vespas with manual gearbox , capable of carrying 1 driver + 1 passenger, for a total of 6 participants. In the event of driving difficulties with manual gearboxes, the organiser has Vespa scooters with automatic gearboxes available: contact us to submit your booking request.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
