Start the engine of an iconic Vespa with a sidecar and turn a simple day out on Lake Como into a vintage-style adventure!
Whizz along the scenic bends, past elegant historic villas and villages overlooking the water, then choose your favourite spot to spread out your blanket. A wicker basket, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, awaits you, filled with gourmet nibbles and sparkling wine for an unforgettable picnic!
What we will do
The meeting is at 9. 30 am at the meeting point in Como (CO). Our staff will be there to welcome you and provide you with the Vespa sidecar, helmets and maps (on request) to help you find your way along the route.
Before you set off, you’ll be given a wicker picnic basket, complete with a blanket, glasses and pre-packaged gourmet treats (such as cold cuts, olives and handmade taralli) to enjoy with prosecco or mini-spritz. You’ll also be given some tips on the most beautiful spots around the lake where you can stop for your picnic.
Once on board, you’ll set off in complete freedom to explore the most hidden corners of the city of Como or head towards the villages of Cernobbio and Moltrasio, admiring the villas overlooking the water. You’ll organise your day as you please, taking time to snap photos at the scenic viewpoints and relaxing amidst nature.
At the end of the day, you’ll return to the starting point to hand back the boat and the picnic basket by 6. 00 pm.
The activity will last a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a Category B driving licence. EU and non-EU participants must hold a driving licence that authorises them to ride a 125cc motorcycle in their country of residence, or a motorcycle licence.
There are no age restrictions for the passenger.

Hire is available from May to October.
The price is per Vespa sidecar; the vehicle can carry up to 2 people.
Important: fuel is not included. The Vespa will be handed over with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. A security deposit of €1, 500. 00 will be required on site, which will be refunded at the end of the hire period. When collecting the Vespa, you must present an identity document or passport and a credit or debit card (prepaid cards are not accepted) .
Dogs are allowed on board, provided they are in their own carrier.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport; paid parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
