But how lovely it is to explore the hills… of the Langhe and Roero!
On a Vespa, of course. You’ll have up to 8 hours’ hire, unlimited kilometres and a picnic basket for two, packed with local specialities ready to enjoy.
Forget about ‘wings under your feet’ – this is enough to make your mouth water!
What we will do
The meeting point is from 10. 00 onwards at the collection point in Guarene (CN). On arrival, you’ll find the rental company ready to hand over the vehicle reserved for you.
You’ll be riding a vintage 125cc Vespa ( from the 1960s, 1970s or 1980s) with a manual gearbox or an automatic Vespa scooter, depending on your riding ability and what’s available at the time. You’ll also be given a picnic basket containing 1 bottle of local wine, local specialities, a sweet treat and water. At this point, you’ll have everything you need to set off!
You’ll be able to ride with no mileage restrictions along a route of your choice. From the heart of the Roero region with its historic villages, you can wind your way through the vineyards of the Langhe and the hills of Monferrato. It’ll be a two-wheeled adventure to enjoy in complete freedom and at your own pace!
Along the way, you can stop at one of the area’s many scenic spots (perhaps near a ‘Giant Bench’) and enjoy a picnic on the grass with a view, using the contents of the included basket.
Finally, you’ll need to return to the starting point by 6. 00 pm.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old, hold a B licence and have previous moped/motorcycle driving experience.
The passenger must be at least 12 years old (or be able to put their feet on the ground independently on board the vehicle).
Other information
Rental is available from April to June and from September to November.
The organiser has 125cc Vespas with manual gearboxes or automatic Vespa scooters available, each capable of carrying 1 rider and 1 passenger. The choice of vehicle will be agreed with the rental company based on your riding ability and availability at the time of booking.
Free parking is available on site . The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
