Castellammare del Golfo is looking for a new captain! Will you be the next one?
Rent an inflatable boat without a licence and lead a group of up to 7 adventurers like you to discover the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Enjoy a half-day or full-day excursion at the helm!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the time selected when booking at the meeting point in Castellammare del Golfo (TP). You will be met by the boat hire operator, who will hand over the boat to you.
The boat is a 5. 30-metre-long Sacs inflatable with a 40 CV Yamaha engine, fitted with an awning, a washdown hose and a boarding ladder. To keep any food and drinks you bring on board cool, you can request a cool bag free of charge.
The rental agent will give you a brief explanation of how to operate the dinghy: if it’s your first time at the helm, you can also have a test drive lasting around 5 minutes. After that, you’ll be ready to set off – no boat licence required – to explore the Trapani coastline!
During the half-day excursion, you can explore the marine area of the Zingaro Nature Reserve, stopping off at any of its seven coves, including Cala della Disa, Cala dell’Uzzo and the Tonnarella dell’Uzzo; if, on the other hand, you hire the dinghy for a full day, you can head as far as San Vito Lo Capo and moor at the harbour, paying the landing fee (optional, to be paid on site) .
At the end of the hire, you’ll return to the meeting point. The experience will last a maximum of 4½ hours (half-day) or 8½ hours (full day) , depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The charterer and driver must be at least 18 years old; this boat may be chartered without a licence. There is no age limit for passengers .
The boat is not accessible to persons with mobility problems.
Other information
Rental is available from May to October.
There is paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Fuel is not included and will be paid on return to the port according to consumption.
On board the boat you remain barefoot. Small to medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.
Additional skipper service is available at a cost of €50.00 for a half-day and €100.00 for a full day. Please contact the charterer at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request this service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
