Discover the wonderful discipline of horse riding with a one-hour lesson in Umbertide, a few kilometres from Perugia. You will learn how to get in tune with the horse and how to ride, thanks to experienced instructors who will follow you step by step.
You will ride in the rolling hills between Umbria and Tuscany, in a beautiful agriturismo easily reachable from the main Umbrian towns such as Assisi, Gubbio and Spello.
The lesson is aimed at beginners and first-time riders.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Umbertide (PG) farm, immersed in a beautiful natural setting on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will immediately take us to meet the horses at the riding school.
The lesson will focus on theinteraction between horse and man: we will be taught the correct way to relate and get in tune with him. We will learn how to handle the animal from the ground, to get to know it, to respect its space and to care for it in the right way.
After that, it will be time to saddle up. We will get on the horse's back and, under the guidance of the instructor, do a few laps around the field , putting into practice the notions we have just learned.
We will remain in the riding hall for the entire hour-long lesson.

The lesson is individual. However, you can come with one or two people of your same level to do the lesson together. Please select the number of persons (up to 3 participants) when booking.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
