Discover the fantastic world of horse riding with a one-hour lesson at the beautiful riding school in Borgomanero, in the Novara area.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you will learn the main techniques of horse handling and ride for the first time. You will spend an hour together with an extraordinary animal, the horse, getting in tune with him.
The lesson is intended for beginners, but also for more experienced riders to try new activities, such as Mountain Trail riding. So, ready to saddle up?
What we will do
We will meet at the riding school in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara, where we will be welcomed by the equestrian guide and get to know the horses and ponies.
The lesson will be customised according to age and level:
- Beginners will be introduced to the wonderful world of horse riding: they will learn the basic techniques of handling a horse and, once they have learned the basics, they will take a short walk around the stables.
- More experienced riders can refine their technique and gain more confidence, or try out exciting new activities, such as Mountain Trail. This discipline concentrates the difficulties that one might encounter during an excursion in a field: logs to climb over, bridges to cross, small fords but also more challenging obstacles such as the bascule or the water box. Horse and rider will have to tackle them carefully, demonstrating that they have established a bond of mutual trust.
- The children will have fun together with sweet ponies for their first ride.
The activity lasts a total of about 1 hour and takes place in the riding hall.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 3. No horse riding experience is necessary.
Other information
The excursion can be booked throughout the year, subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.
Lessons are individual. However, you can take lessons together with other friends of the same level by selecting the number of participants (up to 4) when booking.
For younger children, the lesson will take place together with sweet ponies.
Thenecessary equipment (helmets and protective corset) will be provided on site. The protective corset is mandatory for minors, while the helmet is mandatory for everyone.
