That branch of Lake Como... where our sailing lesson takes place!
Get on board and sail for more than 2 hours in the company of a professional skipper: learn the theoretical notions of sailing and immediately put them into practice by actively participating in life on board.
And when you return to port, enjoy lunch with your 'crew'!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before 09: 00 at the meeting point in Parè di Valmadrera (LC). We will be welcomed by the skipper and sailing instructor who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, we will board the sailing boat. The skipper will explain how to take part in life on board and will provide all useful information for a carefree experience.
Ready to set sail, we will learn how to 'haul in the mainsail and jib', i. e. we will learn how to open the sails to help start sailing. In the course of the experience, we will learn numerous theoretical notions of sailing that we can immediately put into practice by actively participating in life on board like a real crew.
During the navigation we will also be able to enjoy the panorama of Lake Como: we will pass by Lecco, Malgrate and Abbadia Lariana; we will also admire Resegone, San Martino and Monte Moregallo reflected in the water. If the sky is clear, we may even see the Swiss mountains on the horizon!
We will finally return to the meeting point, where we will anchor for lunch served on board, which will consist of a light main course accompanied by water and prosecco. The navigation will last about 2 ½ hours; the experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
The activity is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time sailors.
Other information
The experience runs from February to June and from September to December and is confirmed when a minimum number of 3 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
