If your dream is to sail along an enchanting and mythical coastline, our excursion along the Cyclops Riviera is for you.
We guarantee you won't encounter the monsters that Ulysses faced off these shores, but only evocative landscapes of black beaches, ancient castles and volcanic rocks.
And to make the experience even more memorable, a sunset aperitif with white wine and typical Sicilian products.
What we will do
We will meet just before sunset in Catania to meet the skipper, who will take us to a private marina to embark. Once everyone is settled on board, we will be ready to set sail. If the wind is right, we will open the sail and let ourselves be rocked by the waves, otherwise we will use the motor.
We will sail along the coast of the Cyclops Riviera admiring the beautiful natural landscapes, where it is said that the mythical Ulysses confronted the sea monsters. We will see the volcanic rocks, black beaches, castles and churches that characterise this area.
During the navigation, the captain will tell us curiosities and stories related to these places. No bathroom stops are planned. We will moor at anchor in a quiet bay and enjoy an aperitif of local products while admiring the sunset with its magical and romantic colours.
We will return to the harbour after about 2 hours of excursion.

The activity can be carried out throughout the year and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
You will be on board a 12-metre PHOENIX II sailing boat, which can carry a maximum of 6 people in addition to the crew. Equipped with a photovoltaic panel to recharge the batteries and keep the refrigerator running while sailing, it has two cabins and two bathrooms with a double bed in the dinette. It also has a toilet and a kitchen with fridge.
Dogs, even large dogs, are allowed on the boat.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
