Boat excursion with approach to sailing on the Conero Riviera

Do you love the sea and would you look good in a sailor's shoes? Then cast off your moorings and set sail from Ancona.

Join our one-day sailing excursion and put yourself at the helm under the guidance of your instructor. On board you will take a real introductory sailing course, receiving all the basics about this fascinating world.

And your first experience at the helm will be made even more unforgettable by the scenery. You will sail along the beautiful Conero Riviera and even take a dip in the stretch of water in front of two spectacular coves!

What we will do

The meeting is at 9.00 a.m. at the Marina Dorica marina in Ancona, where our sailing instructor will be waiting for us. Once all participants (up to 11) have settled on board the beautiful sailboat, we will cast off our moorings and set off around 9.30 am.

We will start sailing along the Conero Riviera, while the instructor will introduce us to the world of sailing, providing us with all the basics on the wind rose and boat handling. We will also be able to satisfy all our curiosities about sailing by quietly asking our questions.

Around noon, after about two hours of sailing, we will reach the picturesque Sassi Neri beach, which owes its name to the colour of the rocks on the seabed. Here we will make our first stop for about an hour, during which you can take a refreshing dip, relax on board by sunbathing, and eat your packed lunch (not included and to be brought from home).

We will then continue sailing towards the Spiaggia dei Gabbiani (Seagulls ' Beach) and then the famous Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle (Two Sisters' Beach). Here, too, there will be the opportunity for a dip and a swim, as well as to use the SUP available on board to explore the surroundings of the two coves.

At around 16.00 we will depart for the return voyage, during which, for those who wish, it will be possible to try their hand at the helm and experience the thrill of feeling like a captain for a day. Return to the port of Ancona is scheduled for 6.00 p.m., after approximately eight and a half hours of the excursion.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is aimed at everyone from the age of 12.

The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but it is still possible to organise boarding for people with mobility disabilities, who will remain seated on board. For organisation, please contact the skipper in advance (contact details will be sent to you by e-mail with the booking confirmation).

Other information

The excursion is held every day from May to October.

The sailing school has a fleet of sailboats between 12 and 16 metres. Each boat is equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and refrigerator. There is also a SUP on board, which is made available to participants.

Important: the itinerary is subject to the weather and sea conditions of the day. All changes to the itinerary are made in order to allow for smooth and safe sailing.

Lunch is not included in the fee. In case of need, it is possible to use the galley on board.

The meeting place is easily accessible by public transport. Free parking is available for those arriving by car.
